Ingredients

  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup crushed caramel cookies optional
  • Extra caramel sauce and flaky sea salt for topping

Method

  1. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and sea salt until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the salted caramel sauce and mix until well combined.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the caramel mixture until light and fluffy.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm and chilled.
  7. Garnish with caramel sauce, a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, and optional crushed caramel cookies before serving.

Notes

For the best texture, chill the mousse for at least 2 hours. Use good-quality caramel sauce and avoid overmixing after adding the whipped cream to keep the mousse light and airy.
